Surgical Excisions: Some skin cancers, such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma or atypical moles, require excision to be removed. This is a procedure in which the lesion is removed with a margin of normal skin. Sutures are then placed to close the wound. Dr. Doty is able to treat many types of skin cancers in the office with this procedure.
Benign Lesion Removal: Dr. Doty performs excisions for a variety of benign (non-cancerous) skin lesions such as lipomas, cysts and benign moles. Please schedule a consultation to discuss the options for treatment of these conditions.
